This purpose of this site is to enrich the lives of our readers and allow some to live vicariously through our stories. This site intends to give a small glimpse of some lesser known sites that Europe has to offer, or a new twist on a popular attraction. Kind of like 1,000 place to see before you die, or Rick Steves: Europe through the back door … we want to provide a look beyond the obvious touristy things and focus on some of our favorites. In addition, we want to help make traveling as rewarding and beneficial to the readers as it is to the authors of this site.

Adam – I have been traveling to Europe for the past 7 years for both personal and business reasons. I tend to try and see as much possible when I visit some place. Not that I don’t believe in staying at one location for an entire day… but I feel like there are many things in the world I have yet to see and I only have a few years to do it in!
